Johnny Domino encounters a woman he had noticed previously who asks him to play at a charity event; The woman, Rita Diamond, tells him how the event is being held in her fiancés estate; Johnny arrives and plays his jazz when suddenly there's a power outage and the ballroom becomes dark; Johnny Domino is able to see things in the room when a strangely garbed man comes in and kidnaps the woman; Johnny tries to stop him but is unable to without revealing who he is.
